Methionine producers lift price quotes in China; buyers remain prudent
   
   
   
Prices of methionine stable to higher during the week ending December 14.
   
   
As one producer continued to halt operation due to technical issues, supplies of methionine tightened of late. Two other producers took the opportunity to lift price quotes, hence helping to stabilise methionine prices over the week.
   
   
Price quotes for locally produced methionine remained at RMB29.80/kg.
